Poets are those who love,--who feel great truths, And tell them.

My Heart

by Derian

My heart is a battle ground filled with anguish and torture;
I can hear echoing laments from within me.
Once a pure soul resided in my body;
now it's forever tainted with pain.
My heart yells out for retribution,
it cries for all that has be lost in it's hardship.
Even though my icy cold exterior doesn't expose all that has happened,
it doesn't mean it never did happen.
The blazing inferno that takes my heart captive
wishes to decimate all who have done wrong to me.
My heart was full of love; now it contains cruel love.
The light which once made my days bright
vanished along with everything I have ever loved.
My heart... My heart... My heart.
Gone, but never forgotten.

My One and Only

by Derian
You my beautiful amazing girl
You are my whole world

without your love my heart is baron and dry
with your love i can fly high

i've made such terrible mistakes
youre not one of the fakes

Forever on my own
Forever lonely
You are My one and only

Tautology

by Sarah
I am not aware of where we venture,
Will I arrive or plunge
The divide? That infamous icy mundane,
Of tee shirts and denim.

Try wrench it all apart,
By the close seamed collar
Que: watching a string on its snail route south,
Unfurling- as we are.

Perchance I may like that.
A cotton grey gossamer.
The spool has spun gold and its remnants
Gild the grey.

Light is lustful whilst it’s dancing,
Falling leaves.
My autumn is upon me-
Falling, please.

Never

by Sam
Never let me go
still hold on
even though a million things
Could go wrong

Never forget to
Let me see
That when you’re here
Together we’re free

Never stop believing
In who we are
Because together we are one
One daring star

Never forget that I’ll
Always be here
Ever dreaming on
Keeping you near

Never let our eyes
Turn away
From what is true
From our sacred way

Never let me cry
Lonely and alone
Remind me always
That we’ve made a home

Never forget to always
Fall hard for me
To remember that we are
Young and alive and free

Never be afraid
To dare just a little
‘cause together we are
Strangely invincible

Never forget that I love you
With all I am or ever will be
That together we are one
And that together we are

Life Is Something Wonderful

by Jamie G.
I try so hard to make sure that I please.
I wonder in my thoughts that are oh so free.
My mind is the only place where I can ever be me.
One day someone will see just how great I can be.

I have a great view on everyday life.
Though sometimes I have negative thoughts.
I hope that one day I will make a loving wife.
I never got the sensation I always sought.

This is a poem of personal desires.
You may not understand.
To you this poem may not require.
To my life I will always be in demand.
