no one knows
no one tries
to see the person i hide inside
the true me lurks
inside the dark
but no one’s tried
to see my heart
i'm not looking for pity
i'm actually fine
with everyone looking
at my outer design
i know that if
they saw the true me
they’d never understand
they might even hate me.
